About the Artisan
I'm Eduardo Torres. As a graphic designer, artisan, and woodworking enthusiast, I've journeyed from traditional woodworking to the innovative world of CNC router machines. At Torres de Madera Woodshop, I've combined creativity with an extensive knowledge of woodworking techniques to craft unique wooden pieces. This experience has inspired me to create this online platform dedicated to CNC router project plans.
Our Mission:
Sharing Creativity and Expertise. This platform is more than just a collection of digital plans. It's a community where creativity meets practicality, and where my dedication to extraordinary design becomes a shared experience. I aim to empower enthusiasts and professionals alike by providing access to unique designs that can be brought to life using the files provided.
My Journey:
From Graphic Design to Woodworking Mastery. My foray into woodworking began in 2014 at the "Makers" movement fair (Mini Makers Faire). Inspired by various artists and designers, I embarked on a journey to learn and master the art of woodworking. I traveled to the United States for further education, absorbing techniques and ideas from masters in the field.
A Blend of Traditional Skills and Modern Techniques:
Throughout my journey, I have experimented with a myriad of techniques including Wood Lathe, Pyrography, Embossing, Leatherwork, Carving, Resin, and Welding. My commitment to safety and craftsmanship has been a constant in this journey. Now, I'm excited to transition these skills and experiences into the world of CNC Router machines.
